Bayou City Concert Musicals is pleased to present our productions in the intimate and warm space of Houston Community College’s Heinen Theatre in Midtown. The Heinen Theatre is an elegant 300 seat theatre that serves as the performance home of HCC's music, dance, and drama departments. Originally a synagogue built in 1924, the space was carefully renovated in 1984 to serve the college and the community. The restoration of the former Temple Beth Israel won the building recognition in the National Registry of Historic Places. Now a professionally equipped proscenium theatre, the space features excellent acoustics and sight lines, while maintaining turn of the century charm in its architectural details and stunning stained glass skylight.
